About Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Resort
Anantara Villa Padierna Palace is the palace-museum of the Costa del Sol: more than 1,200 original works line its courtyards, a Roman amphitheatre in the grounds stages open-air opera on summer nights, and one villa is named for the First Lady it once hosted. Rooms wrap around central courtyards and look over the Roman-style pool, the lake, the mountains or the golf.
The golf belongs to the estate: Flamingos, host to three seasons of European Senior Tour golf, Alferini, a par 73 stretching to 6,648 metres with its signature par 3 over water at the 14th, and Tramores, the executive par 3. The Anantara Spa runs to 2,000 square metres of Roman baths, hammam and heated pool, with a Golfer's Massage built for the morning after; La Loggia's terrace looks down the lake as far as Gibraltar.
