About La Zagaleta Golf Club
This isn't millionaires golf, it is zillionaires golf. La Zagaleta Golf Club is a very private golf club set above Marbella. There are two 18 hole courses, but only the New Course is available to non-members. With only 200 members at the club, the New course is never busy.
The New Course has been open for 20 years but only became available to visitors in 2021. From the meet and greet complete with the goodie bag to the spectacular layout this is a real treat, though it comes at a price. The course is set up in the hills with lots of elevated tees, but some of the very clever holes pave their way through the valley. The par threes give you plenty of opportunity for points but others may not be that easy to come by. Book a morning tee time to make the most of your experience.
The peace is only broken occasionally by the sighting of a pheasant, a deer, buck or mouflon, permanent residents in La Zagaleta.
