How paying for a group trip actually works
Advised at quote, not fixed in advance — it can be higher for a group where a supplier needs a holding deposit. You know the figure in writing before anyone commits.
Due no later than 8 weeks before you travel, so there's a real window to collect from the group rather than a last-minute scramble.
No card fees on deposits, so paying in doesn't cost the group anything extra — and you keep your card's own purchase protection.
