A golf and spa break is a simple idea done well. You play golf during the day, then the muscles that did the work get looked after afterwards: a sauna, a thermal pool, a proper massage, sometimes a full wellness centre. It suits couples where one of you wants the tee time and the other wants the treatment room. Which destination is best for a winter golf and spa break?
For warmth later in the year, Cyprus holds its temperature well into the autumn, and Marrakech and the Algarve stay playable through much of the winter. Belek in Turkey is reliable in the shoulder seasons too, with big spas to fall back on if the day turns cool. For guaranteed heat in our winter, long-haul Mauritius is the safest bet, though it is a longer flight and a higher overall spend.
