ABOUT THE HOTEL
The Spier Hotel, surrounded by farmland outside Stellenbosch, is a stunning resort. Just 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport this five-star hotel re-opened in Spring 2025 after a luxury refurbishment saw the number of bedrooms reduced and the facilities enhanced.
The 80 bedrooms are light and airy surrounded by rewilded fynbos gardens. You can relax around the heated outdoor pool or enjoy dining in the two a la carte restaurants serving farm to fork produced on the surrounding Spier Farm. The luxury spa features local botanics in the treatments and there are wonderful farm walks across the 1,500 acre estate. You can even grab a picnic from the hotel picnickery to enjoy in the grounds.
