About Royal Cape Golf Club
Over more than a century Royal Cape golf course has evolved into a classic parkland course that provides a fine test of golf as well as a wonderful playing experience. Royal Cape is a traditional test of your game, although the numerous ponds and lakes teeming with bird life provide beauty and distraction along the way.
The course is on the flat but there is near constant wind and water features, or hazards, to catch you. The course is in superb condition all year round with well grassed fairways, smooth greens and challenging bunkers.
Royal Cape is without doubt one of the best and most challenging courses to play on the Western Cape. It is a course of championship stature, playing to a par of 72, which has hosted the SA Open ten times as well as many other professional and top amateur events.
