Calm waterside city base
Park Hyatt Dubai gives you the quieter, waterside face of the city. Within walking distance there are around forty restaurants, a handful of bars and cafes, and three malls, so nobody is stuck with the hotel bar. Non-golfers do well here too: Children's City and the Dubai Dolphinarium both sit within 1.2km, and Marina Jaddaf Waterfront is 1.9km along the water. A short taxi ride widens the choice to hundreds of restaurants and forty bars. One thing to know: Deira, the nearest town centre, is 4.3km away, a taxi rather than a walk.
