Belek squeezes more five-star golf hotels into ten miles of pine-backed coastline than anywhere else in Europe, and on paper they all read the same: all-inclusive, big spa, private beach, championship golf. In practice they are very different animals. The hotel that suits a twelve-man society would drive a honeymooning couple up the wall, and the reverse is just as true. We have been arranging Belek golf holidays for years, so here is how we would separate them.
One caveat before the detail. July and August regularly pass 35C and a midday tee time becomes a slog, so if you can travel between March and May, or in October and November, do. Prices are keener then too.
Regnum Carya is Belek’s most prestigious address. Its on-site Carya Golf Club is ranked number one in Turkey, a heathland-style course through mature pines, and it is fully floodlit. Playing eighteen holes at ten o’clock at night with the cicadas going never stops being a novelty.
The hotel matches the course. There are several gourmet restaurants, a serious spa with indoor and outdoor pools, a private beach and generously sized rooms and suites, many looking straight down the fairways. The service is the sharpest in Belek.
Best for: golfers who want the finest resort experience in Turkey, and couples marking a big occasion.

Best for Luxury — Maxx Royal Belek Golf & Spa
Maxx Royal Belek is home to the Montgomerie Golf Course, designed by Colin Montgomerie and a former host of the Turkish Airlines Open, so you are playing a genuine DP World Tour venue from your hotel room. It offers night golf as well.
The hotel itself is enormous and unapologetically lavish. Its all-inclusive goes further than most in Belek, taking in premium spirits and proper fine dining rather than the usual buffet circuit.
Best for: golfers who want to test themselves on a tour venue and sleep in the plushest bed in town afterwards.

If you asked us to name one resort for a first Belek trip, it would be Sueno Deluxe, from £715 (≈ €835) (≈ $955) (≈ CA$1,345) (≈ AU$1,365) (≈ NZ$1,635) (≈ CHF 775) (≈ kr 9,135) (≈ kr 9,175) (≈ kr 6,235) pp. Two championship courses sit on the doorstep, the tight, tree-lined Pines and the gentler, more scenic Dunes, and you can walk from your room to the first tee in under three minutes. No coaches, no faff.
The five-star side holds up too, with several pools, a good spa, beach access and plenty of restaurants. Be honest about your game, though. The Pines punishes anything crooked off the tee, and higher handicappers usually enjoy the Dunes far more.
Best for: golfers who want the most golf for their money, and groups who love the walk-to-tee convenience.
The society organiser’s answer is Gloria Golf Resort, which starts at £1,125 (≈ €1,315) (≈ $1,505) (≈ CA$2,115) (≈ AU$2,155) (≈ NZ$2,575) (≈ CHF 1,215) (≈ kr 14,375) (≈ kr 14,435) (≈ kr 9,805) pp. Turkey’s only 45-hole golf complex sits within the estate, spread across the Old Course, the New Course and the Verde Course, so a large group can play a different combination every day without boarding a coach.
The hotel takes big numbers in its stride, with a long list of room categories and enough restaurants that a fortnight would not exhaust them. Gloria also runs two sister properties on the same estate. Best for: golf societies, corporate trips and anyone who wants course variety without travel.
Best for Couples — Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa
Cornelia Diamond, from £1,115 (≈ €1,295) (≈ $1,495) (≈ CA$2,095) (≈ AU$2,135) (≈ NZ$2,545) (≈ CHF 1,205) (≈ kr 14,245) (≈ kr 14,315) (≈ kr 9,725) pp, balances serious golf against serious relaxation better than anywhere else in Belek. The on-site course is Sir Nick Faldo’s 27-hole design, three loops of nine that combine into different eighteens, and the hotel has Belek’s only Eco Spa along with a fine beach and some of the best dining in the region.
The arithmetic for couples is simple. One of you plays the Faldo loops in the morning while the other takes a hammam treatment, and you meet for dinner overlooking the Mediterranean. The resort is refined without being stiff about it.
Best for: couples, golfer and non-golfer pairs, and anyone who rates the spa as highly as the scorecard.
Gloria Serenity is the adults-focused sister of Gloria Golf Resort, and from £1,495 (≈ €1,745) (≈ $2,005) (≈ CA$2,815) (≈ AU$2,865) (≈ NZ$3,415) (≈ CHF 1,625) (≈ kr 19,105) (≈ kr 19,185) (≈ kr 13,035) pp it is the pick of the estate for a quieter, more grown-up week. You get the same 45 holes of championship golf as Gloria Golf guests, the Serenity Spa is among the largest in Belek, and the restaurants would hold their own outside a hotel.
Worth knowing before you book: the courses are a short shuttle ride away rather than outside your door, so it trails Sueno and Titanic for pure convenience.
Best for: adults-only groups and couples who want a quieter hotel with a great deal of golf attached.
Voyage Belek, from £795 (≈ €925) (≈ $1,065) (≈ CA$1,495) (≈ AU$1,515) (≈ NZ$1,815) (≈ CHF 855) (≈ kr 10,155) (≈ kr 10,205) (≈ kr 6,935) pp, is the one we book for golfing parents. The kids’ clubs, water park and entertainment programme are among the best-equipped in Belek, and 11 championship courses lie within a 10-mile radius. There is no course on site, which is the honest trade-off. Every round involves a short transfer, though the arrangements run smoothly and the upside is total variety.
Best for: family holidays where golf is part of the picture rather than all of it.

If your priority is stepping straight from breakfast to the tee, this and Sueno are the two to shortlist.

Best for: golfers who want maximum on-site golf and no transfers.
