Belek

Belek packs 14 championship golf courses into a strip of pine forest you can drive end to end in about ten minutes. No other corner of Europe puts this much golf within one short transfer. The catch is that most groups only manage four rounds in a week, so choosing well matters more here than almost anywhere else we book. Some of these courses reward power, some quietly punish it, and a couple are best left for another trip. These are the ten we would actually book for 2026.

We have planned Turkey golf trips since 1981, and we know every course we sell inside out. Tell us your dates and group size and we will build the four rounds your week deserves. Tee times, transfers and resort, all arranged for you.

How We Ranked These Courses

Four criteria set the order: course conditioning, design quality, facilities, and guest feedback from our own clients across more than four decades of organising golf holidays. The last one carries the most weight. A course can look superb in photographs and still leave a group flat by Thursday, and our clients tell us the truth when they get home. Every course below has been played and assessed by our team.

1. Carya Golf Club — The Champion

Ranked #1 in Turkey by Golf Digest, Carya Golf Club is a heathland course in a region of parkland. Thomson Perrett & Lobb built it on sand and planted it with heather, so it plays firm and looks like Surrey lifted to the Mediterranean. The bunkering is bold and the conditioning holds up right through winter, which is when most of our Belek groups travel.

Carya was also Europe’s first full 18-hole championship course under floodlights. You can play 36 here in a day and finish the second round in the dark, which sounds like a gimmick until you try it. The course has hosted the Turkish Airlines Open on the DP World Tour, and if your week only stretches to one marquee round, we would put it here rather than at the Montgomerie.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 7,086 yards | Designer: Thomson Perrett & Lobb
  • Night golf: Yes, full 18 holes floodlit
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
  • Stay at: Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort

2. Montgomerie Maxx Royal — The Tournament Course

Designed by eight-time European Order of Merit winner Colin Montgomerie, the championship course at Maxx Royal Belek runs its front nine through sand dunes and dense pine before the back nine climbs and falls towards a proper grandstand finish. Water arrives exactly where it hurts.

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose all competed here when the course held the Turkish Airlines Open from 2013 to 2015. Like Carya, it is fully floodlit for night golf.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 6,957 yards | Designer: Colin Montgomerie
  • Night golf: Yes, full 18 holes floodlit
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
  • Stay at: Maxx Royal Belek Golf & Spa

3. Cornelia Faldo Course — The Strategic Masterclass

Sir Nick Faldo laid out this 27-hole complex at Cornelia Diamond Resort as three loops, the Kings, Queens and Prince nines, and each pairing plays differently. The philosophy is pure Faldo. Fairways generous enough to tempt an attack, then greens that punish anything short of precision.

The course appears regularly in Top 100 Golf Courses in Europe lists, and the practice ground and Golf Academy are among the best in Turkey. We would base most groups at Cornelia Diamond itself, from £1,115 (≈ €1,295) (≈ $1,495) (≈ CA$2,095) (≈ AU$2,135) (≈ NZ$2,545) (≈ CHF 1,205) (≈ kr 14,245) (≈ kr 14,315) (≈ kr 9,725) pp, though Cornelia De Luxe Resort, from £425 (≈ €495) (≈ $565) (≈ CA$795) (≈ AU$805) (≈ NZ$965) (≈ CHF 455) (≈ kr 5,425) (≈ kr 5,455) (≈ kr 3,705) pp, gives you the same Faldo golf from the sister hotel for considerably less.

4. PGA Sultan Course, Antalya Golf Club — The Test

The Sultan is the sternest examination in Belek, co-designed by European Golf Design and former tour professional David Jones. The greens are contoured and well protected, the tree-lined fairways are mature, and raw power gets you nowhere without course management. Justin Rose won the 2012 Turkish Airlines World Golf Final on this course.

Its sister layout, the Pasha, is the gentler day. For the Sultan we would base you at Sirene Belek Hotel, from £675 (≈ €785) (≈ $905) (≈ CA$1,265) (≈ AU$1,285) (≈ NZ$1,545) (≈ CHF 725) (≈ kr 8,625) (≈ kr 8,665) (≈ kr 5,885) pp, which shares the Antalya Golf Club site, so you can stroll to the range with a coffee in hand.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 7,159 yards | Designer: European Golf Design / David Jones
  • Night golf: No
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5/5)

5. National Golf Club — The Classic

National Golf Club is Belek’s original championship course and still one of its best. David Feherty and David Jones routed it through towering eucalyptus, with water appearing on several holes just as you start to relax. It has hosted Ladies European Tour events and gives golfers of all abilities a fair, enjoyable examination.

It is also the calmest of the top courses, noticeably quieter than the big resort venues. Pair it with a beach base such as Voyage Belek Golf and Spa, from £795 (≈ €925) (≈ $1,065) (≈ CA$1,495) (≈ AU$1,515) (≈ NZ$1,815) (≈ CHF 855) (≈ kr 10,155) (≈ kr 10,205) (≈ kr 6,935) pp, a short run from the first tee.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 6,755 yards | Designer: David Feherty & David Jones
  • Night golf: No
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5/5)

6. Gloria Old Course — The Tournament Host

The flagship course at Gloria Golf Resort hosts the Turkish Airlines Challenge on the DP World Tour’s Challenge Tour. Michel Gayon threaded it through pine forest and around a series of lakes, and the putting surfaces are kept to a tournament standard.

Gloria is Turkey’s only 45-hole golf complex (Old, New and Verde), so a week here means a different layout every day without leaving the resort. Stay at Gloria Golf Resort, from £1,125 (≈ €1,315) (≈ $1,505) (≈ CA$2,115) (≈ AU$2,155) (≈ NZ$2,575) (≈ CHF 1,215) (≈ kr 14,375) (≈ kr 14,435) (≈ kr 9,805) pp, at Gloria Serenity, from £1,495 (≈ €1,745) (≈ $2,005) (≈ CA$2,815) (≈ AU$2,865) (≈ NZ$3,415) (≈ CHF 1,625) (≈ kr 19,105) (≈ kr 19,185) (≈ kr 13,035) pp, or at the smaller, quieter Gloria Verde, from £835 (≈ €975) (≈ $1,115) (≈ CA$1,575) (≈ AU$1,595) (≈ NZ$1,905) (≈ CHF 905) (≈ kr 10,665) (≈ kr 10,715) (≈ kr 7,275) pp.

7. Lykia Links — The One-of-a-Kind

Lykia Links is the only true links in Turkey. Perry Dye ran it along the coastline with firm, fast fairways, pot bunkers and fescue rough, and the sea breeze asks for every low shot you own. Golfers raised on Scottish or Irish links feel at home within three holes, just with rather better weather.

A word of caution, though. Lykia sits outside the main Belek strip, so allow a longer transfer than the ten minutes you get used to between the other courses, and on a breezy spring day it is a genuinely hard round. We would still send confident ball-strikers here without hesitation.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 6,924 yards | Designer: Perry Dye
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

8. Sueno Pines Course — The Challenge

The Pines Course is generally reckoned the toughest test in Belek. Dave Thomas used 19 lakes and tight pine corridors, so accuracy decides everything and higher handicappers should pack spare balls. The par threes over water are the holes your group will still be arguing about at dinner.

Stay on the doorstep at Sueno Golf Hotel, from £625 (≈ €725) (≈ $835) (≈ CA$1,175) (≈ AU$1,195) (≈ NZ$1,425) (≈ CHF 675) (≈ kr 7,985) (≈ kr 8,015) (≈ kr 5,445) pp, or at Sueno Hotels Deluxe Belek, from £715 (≈ €835) (≈ $955) (≈ CA$1,345) (≈ AU$1,365) (≈ NZ$1,635) (≈ CHF 775) (≈ kr 9,135) (≈ kr 9,175) (≈ kr 6,235) pp.

9. Sueno Dunes Course — The Scenic Alternative

The Pines’ sister course, the Dunes Course, is more open and links-influenced, with rolling fairways, fewer trees and an island green that has become one of the most photographed holes in Belek. It is the kinder of the two Sueno layouts and the better pick for a mixed-ability group.

10. Gloria New Course — The All-Rounder

The New Course at Gloria is the friendliest round on this list. Michel Gayon gave it generous fairways and honest, well-contoured greens that reward good iron play without punishing everything else. We often slot it in as a group’s first morning, a warm-up before Carya and the Sultan later in the week.

  • Par: 72 | Length: 6,717 yards | Designer: Michel Gayon
  • Our rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3.5/5)
  • Stay at: Gloria Golf Resort

How many golf courses does Belek have?

Belek has 14 championship golf courses within roughly a ten-minute radius, the densest concentration of golf in Europe. They are: Carya; Montgomerie Maxx Royal; the Cornelia Faldo course; the two Antalya Golf Club courses (PGA Sultan and Pasha); National; the three Gloria layouts (Old, New and Verde); the two Sueno courses (Pines and Dunes); Kaya Palazzo; Robinson Nobilis; and Lykia Links. If you want one polished base in the middle of the strip while you play across several clubs, Titanic Deluxe Golf Resort, from £935 (≈ €1,085) (≈ $1,255) (≈ CA$1,755) (≈ AU$1,785) (≈ NZ$2,135) (≈ CHF 1,015) (≈ kr 11,945) (≈ kr 11,995) (≈ kr 8,155) pp, does that job well. A word on timing. July and August regularly push past 35°C, so play at first light or under Carya’s floodlights, and keep March to May and October to November for full days of golf. Tell us your dates and group size and we will build the right four-round week around them.

You only get a handful of rounds. Most groups play four in a week. Tell us your dates and handicaps and we will pick the right courses and resort for you, then build the whole trip around them. Ground-only, no deposit to get a quote, and ATOL-protected where you add flights.
