About Antalya Golf Club PGA Sultan & Pasha courses
The PGA Sultan golf course at Antalya Golf Club is designed for those of us who enjoy a challenge. European Golf Design and David Jones spared nothing to maintain the competitive level of course, while at the same time blending it seamlessly into the forest environment. Well placed bunkers and water hazards form part of this well thought out course. The PGA Sultan presents a difficult but ultimately very rewarding challenge. A true yardstick by which to gauge your skill.
The Pasha course at Antalya Golf Club challenges every player. Tricky dog-legs, cleverly placed bunkers and undulating greens ensure that even the seasoned golfer must take care over every shot.
But don’t be deterred. This is a golf course which can be enjoyed whatever your handicap, as the shorter length and generous fairways are kind to any wayward shots. Towering umbrella pines, crystal clear lakes and the snow capped Taurus Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the course as it winds its way through the forests of Belek. These peaceful surroundings are interrupted only by the call of the emblem of Antalya Golf Club, the Hoopoe birds.

Our take
Nobody eases into the PGA Sultan; the opening hole is among the hardest on the course and the 15th is waiting later to finish the job.
- Serious golfersThis is the round Belek regulars use to find out where their game actually is; cards tend to come apart at the 1st and again at the 15th, and with so little wind about there is nothing to blame but yourself.
- Higher handicapsThink twice before taking the Sultan on; there is no gentle opener, water is in play all day, and a mid-teens handicap will feel every bit of it. The Pasha alongside is the gentler way into the club.
- Buddy tripsTwo courses at one club anchor a Belek week nicely; warm up on the Pasha, then bring your patience and a sleeve of spare balls to the Sultan.
Tell us who’s coming and how you like to play, and we’ll shape the right trip around you.
What you are actually facing
The walk. Flat, and an easy walk — 18 metres of climb over the round.
The wind. The wind is usually southerly, averaging 9 km/h, gusting to 33. It is the club selection that catches people out, not the yardage.
The water. 20 hazards in play. Bring a few more balls than you think you need.
The design. European Golf Design and David Jones.
The holes that will cost you. The 1st, the 15th and the 2nd. The 1st is the one you will be talking about afterwards.
