Play at home
Nigel’s extensive knowledge of UK courses has come into its own this summer.
As our normally popular summer destinations of France and Belgium joined the UK’s quarantine list we put our thinking caps on to ensure as many of our clients as possible could enjoy a golf holiday.
Nigel said: “After nearly six months at home a lot of people were very keen for a golf escape.
“I wanted to find them courses as good as they had originally planned. So I set about unearthing pockets of great golf around the UK. Some of the courses are well-known and others are courses I have fallen in love with over my many years playing golf on the circuit in the UK.
“For example Cooden Beach on the South Coast is a well known treat. I have paired it with Piltdown, Crowborough Beacon and Dyke Golf Club and the group are staying in a fantastic pub with great food and beer.
“Dyke Golf Club is a wonderful downland course, with fast greens and superb views out to sea and across the South Downs. It’s also great value for money so works very well with some of the more expensive courses in this area.”
“We’re also booking clients into the luxury Manor House Hotel near Castle Combe. There’s a super 18 hole golf course at the hotel and the excellent but little known The Players Golf Club just down the road.”
Nigel added: “Scotland is, of course, proving very popular. I’ve fixed some great spots for people to stay and play en route to that ultimate golfing destination, St Andrew’s.”
Thinking of 2021?
“If you’re looking ahead to next year and fancy Norfolk I’d get a move on. It’s very busy this autumn, both on the courses and the accommodation, and deservedly so.”

Frequently asked questions
How much does a golf holiday in Scotland cost?
Tailor-made golf breaks in Scotland start from £299 per person, including your hotel, green fees and airport transfers. Every package is built around your group, dates and handicaps.
Do you arrange flights to Scotland?
Flights can be added as an ATOL-protected option, or you book your own and we handle everything on the ground — private transfers, tee times and buggies.
Is my money protected?
Yes. Every booking is financially protected through Protected Trust Services (PTS) — your money is held safely in trust until you have travelled. Flight-inclusive trips are also ATOL protected.
Can I tailor the trip?
Always. We don’t sell off-the-shelf packages — every Scotland break is built personally around your group, your preferred courses and your dates.
