We recently used Golf planet Holidays for our annual golf trip to Spain, I can honestly say that the service provided was second to none, an absolutely first class experience.. well done the team at Golf planet holidays..
About Villa Nueva Golf Course
Villa Nueva Golf course is an enjoyable day out, particularly if you are looking to score some points. Close to the holiday resort of Cadiz, the course presents opportunities for birdies, but there are plenty of hazards to catch wayward shots. The 18th is a great closing Par 5, tempting you to cut as much off as possible with your drive over water, you’re then faced with a tough second shot over another pond. Easy walking. 15 miles south of Jerez.

Our take
Villa Nueva is the scoring round of a Cadiz trip, flat and friendly until the closing par five asks you to carry water twice.
- Higher handicapsBarely 80 metres of climb all round makes for an easy, level walk, and genuine birdie chances come along if you keep it straight. Treat the 5th and 15th with respect and the card survives.
- SocietiesProper stableford territory where points flow for the middle of the pack, and the 18th, a par five over water twice, settles the trophy in style.
- Serious golfersSee it as the day to go low rather than a slog. The tempting line over the water at the last is the most fun you will have with a driver all week.

What you are actually facing
The walk. Flat, and an easy walk — 81 metres of climb over the round.
The wind. The wind is usually south-easterly, averaging 12 km/h, gusting to 44. It is the club selection that catches people out, not the yardage.
The water. 8 hazards in play. Bring a few more balls than you think you need.
The holes that will cost you. The 5th, the 15th and the 9th. The 5th is the one you will be talking about afterwards.
