About Sanlucar Club de Campo
Sanlucar Club de Campo golf course features small hillocks, deep bunkers and undulating fairways. The two nines are completely different, with dog-legs, water hazards and tricky tiered greens on the back nine. The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has named Sanlucar as one of the most challenging golf courses in Spain and we'd agree. Easy walking. 15 miles west of Jerez.

- Serious golfersTwo completely different nines, and the back is where the course shows its teeth: dog-legs, water and tiered greens that make three putts feel routine. One of Spain's most challenging rounds, officially.
- Higher handicapsBe honest with yourself before you book it. The deep bunkers and tiered greens will cost you shots all day, though the walking is genuinely easy and the wind rarely piles on.
- SocietiesFifteen miles west of Jerez with Villa Nueva, Costa Ballena and Sherry Golf close by, so it slots neatly into a week's fixture list, with buggies and a restaurant for those who want them.
