ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE

Parkstone Golf Course is ranked  among the Top 100 in the UK. It is a beautiful heathland course on the south coast with great views over the Channel and Isle of Purbeck. The fairways are generous but seem quite tight thanks to the huge pine trees that dominate some of the holes.

Over 100 years old, Parkstone was designed by no less than Willie Park Jnr and then tweaked by James Braid…7 Open Championships between them! Not a long course by today’s standards, you still need to think before you take your driver as subtle doglegs and pin placements make Parkstone far more than “a big drive and wedge” course. You really need to be on your game to score well but everyone will enjoy the views and leisurely feel about the place.
