About
The Costa Brava in Spain has really taken off as a golf destination since the Millennium. That’s when PGA Catalunya hosted the Spanish Open and the word was out. Emporda and Platja de Pals are just two more of the excellent courses in the region, centering on Girona.
Girona is a delightful city to base yourself in, just 10 minutes from PGA Catalunya. The main square has a number of restaurants and tapas bars to indulge in. You can explore the old city on foot with some lovely walks are to be had along the river, museums to check out or just enjoy people watching over a coffee.
Other options are to stay on the coast at Platja d’Aro or Pals, or even at Perelada Wine & Spa Resort.
Flights from the UK into Girona or Barcelona which is around an hour away.
