A lot of companies sell small group golf tours that turn out to be forty people and a coach. Ours is the opposite. We run one tour a year, we host it in person, and it stays small enough that everyone eats at the same table on the
The 2027 tour: the Western Cape in spring
From 28 February to 9 March 2027 we take a small hosted group to the Western Cape. Nine nights, split between Silver Forest in Somerset West and The Vineyard in Cape Town. Six rounds of golf, including Erinvale and Royal Cape. Wine tastings in Stellenbosch, a welcome dinner, a farewell dinner, and transfers throughout. Sue hosts the trip in person from the welcome dinner onwards.

Who a hosted tour suits
Three kinds of golfer keep booking this sort of trip. Solo golfers, because you arrive alone and spend the week in company, with your own room as standard; there is more on how that works in our solo golf holidays guide. Couples where one plays and one would rather taste wine than count fairway bunkers. And golfers who have organised one too many trips themselves and want someone else to carry the clipboard for once.
One honest note: a hosted tour runs to a fixed itinerary on fixed dates. If you want to pick your own courses and travel on your own dates, a private trip is the better tool, and it is what we build most weeks of the year.

Prefer your own group? We build private tours too
Societies and groups of friends tell us the same thing: the hard part is not the golf, it is the organising. We build private group trips around your dates, your budget and your courses. On most of our packages the courses are yours to choose rather than a fixed rota; the venues with the widest choice are in our choose-your-own-courses collection. Tell us the group size and where you are leaning, and we will come back with a real itinerary and real prices.
Flights and protection, honestly
Our tours and trips are priced for the ground: hotels, golf, transfers and the extras named on the itinerary. Flights are quoted separately so you can use the airline and airport that suit you, and when we book your flights they carry ATOL protection. Your money is protected through our PTS membership either way. No surprises at the paying end, which is rather the point of a hosted trip.
