Spain’s “Costa del Golf” is built for a long weekend: fly into Málaga, and within 45 minutes you are in Sotogrande or Marbella with dozens of courses on the doorstep. Three or four days is all you need for a proper golf hit.
The plan
Base yourself in Sotogrande — the most concentrated golf in southern Spain. SO/ Sotogrande (from £386pp) puts Almenara, La Reserva, San Roque and the legendary Valderrama all within minutes. For five-star links-style golf, Fairmont La Hacienda (from £549pp) has two courses on site and San Roque next door.
- Friday: Land at Málaga, transfer, evening in Sotogrande marina.
- Saturday: The San Roque Club (Old) — a true championship test.
- Sunday: Almenara or La Reserva — modern, scenic, generous off the tee.
- Monday: Optional Marbella round at Rio Real before flying home.
Want a bucket-list round? We can arrange a tee time at Valderrama, host of the 1997 Ryder Cup — see our guide to building a trip around it.
What it costs
Long weekends start from around £386 per person including stay, green fees and transfers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a golf holiday in Spain cost?
Tailor-made golf breaks in Spain start from £185 per person, including your hotel, green fees and airport transfers. Every package is built around your group, dates and handicaps.
Do you arrange flights to Spain?
Flights can be added as an ATOL-protected option, or you book your own and we handle everything on the ground — private transfers, tee times and buggies.
Is my money protected?
Yes. Every booking is financially protected through Protected Trust Services (PTS) — your money is held safely in trust until you have travelled. Flight-inclusive trips are also ATOL protected.
Can I tailor the trip?
Always. We don’t sell off-the-shelf packages — every Spain break is built personally around your group, your preferred courses and your dates.
