ABOUT THE COURSE
The Kendleshire Golf Club, near Bristol, is home to three excellent nine-hole courses, Hollows, Ruffet and Badminton. The first two were designed by Adrian Stiff and are set into the rolling Frome Valley. There is plenty of water to contend with and a thrilling combination of pretty holes, from the forgiving to the challenging. In the summer of 2002 the two nine-hole courses were joined by the Badminton Course. This impressive course was designed by Peter McEvoy who put his own stamp on the layout.
Each of the nines has its own stand-out holes and any mixture is a good day’s golf. The white tees provide a very stern test even for the low handicap player however from the yellow markers the course will be much more enjoyable. The greens are a special joy.
