About T Golf & Country Club (Poniente)
Regarded as one of the best designed layouts in Mallorca, T Golf and Country Club's course takes you through woodland, 15 lakes, sweeping terrain and large, quick greens. Formerly known as Poniente there are a number of challenging and memorable holes, particularly around the turn. This is a very good challenge and the rustic clubhouse provides a super lunch. 11 miles south-west of Palma. Even on a bad day you'll enjoy the flora and fauna and the views.

Mallorca regulars still rank this John Harris design among the island's best pieces of routing, and it makes its point from the opening hole.
- Serious golfersTwelve lakes thread through the woodland and the greens are large and quick, so approach control matters more than length. The stretch around the turn decides most rounds, and the 1st punishes anyone still half asleep.
- Higher handicapsBarely eleven metres of climb all round, so it walks easily, but the lakes demand honest carries. Take enough club into the big greens, and don't be surprised if the 1st costs you before you've warmed up.
- CouplesWoodland, flora and views make it a lovely place to spend a morning even when the golf misbehaves, and the rustic clubhouse does a genuinely good lunch afterwards.
