About Golf de Andratx
Golf de Andratx is a stunning, technically challenging golf course at the Steigenberger Golf and Spa resort. The 18-hole championship course, with its four par fives and seven ponds, is one of the more demanding courses in the Mediterranean.
For example, the 670 yard "Green Monster" (No. 6, par 5), is the longest hole in Spain. The hole plays uphill and there are bunkers and water hazards to avoid on each shot as you approach the green.
As a welcome relief, the eighth hole offers a spectacular view across the bay of Camp de Mar.

Our take
Golf de Andratx is a serious David McLay Kidd test, with seven ponds, four par fives and the longest hole in Spain.
- Serious golfersA technically demanding round from the first tee, and the 670 yard Green Monster at the 6th, the longest hole in Spain, plays uphill with bunkers and water guarding every shot in.
- Higher handicapsThis will bruise a 24 handicapper. Bunkers and water guard every shot into the 6th alone, the ponds keep appearing where you least want them, and par feels like birdie most of the day. Bring plenty of balls.
- CouplesBased at the Steigenberger Golf and Spa resort, so one of you can take the spa while the other takes on the Green Monster, and Camp de Mar keeps the rest of the day easy.
