ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE

Monticello is one of the great clubs of Italy not far from Milan. This 36-hole resort has hosted the Italian Open on numerous occasions. The longer of the two courses – Rosso or Red – is generally preferred and is a parkland design with a few tighter woodland holes and a couple around water. Mid to high handicappers won’t find the challenge too tough but the hazards will post plenty of problems for the longer and more aggressive player. Six miles south-west of Como. The blue course is also parkland but slightly more technical.  If the golf isn’t enough of a delight, tour the circular clubhouse. The whole package here is designed to entertain.
