About Le Robinie Golf Course
Le Robinie is the only course in Italy, created by Jack Nicklaus and his Golden Bear company. There are large amphitheatre fairways, lots of water, bunkers and contoured greens. If you're determined to test your game head to the back tees, if you're after a fun day head forward. Easy walking. 15 miles northeast of Milan and 15 miles south-west of Como. Our take
Jack Nicklaus built one course in Italy and this is it, amphitheatre fairways, contoured greens and enough water to keep you thinking, 15 miles from Milan and about the same from Como.
- Serious golfersTake the back tees and the Golden Bear examination is genuine, water waiting four times through the round and greens with enough contour to turn a lazy approach into three putts.
- Higher handicapsMove forward a set of tees and it becomes the fun day out the club intends, flat and easy walking with the amphitheatre fairways gathering more balls than they lose.
- Buddy tripsStay and play in the resort itself, with Milan 15 miles one way and Como 15 the other when the golf is done. Easy walking means nobody needs a buggy after a late night.
