About Mercure Chateau Chartrons
The Mercure Chateau Chartrons puts you in the heart of Bordeaux, in the old wine merchants' quarter that gives the hotel its name. It is a comfortable base for a golf trip, with the city's riverside walks, restaurants and wine bars a short stroll from the door. After a round, the Chartrons district is an easy place to wind down with a glass of something local.
This is a relaxed stay-and-play for golfers who like a proper city break alongside their golf, rather than a quiet resort. It suits couples and small groups who want a few rounds, then somewhere with life to it in the evenings. A typical package runs to 3 nights, 2 rounds, bed and breakfast from
We are golf travel specialists since 1981, with PTS and IATA protection. Where you add flights, your trip is ATOL protected too. Tell us your dates and group size and we will put together a quote.

City on the doorstep
You will not be short of an evening here. Within walking distance there are over a hundred restaurants and close to forty bars, and the Musée du Vin et du Négoce, five hundred metres away, is the obvious first stop in a city that lives on wine. The CAPC contemporary art museum and the Bassins à flot marina sit just over a kilometre from the door, with L'Opale and Theatro for anyone chasing a later night. One thing to know: the city centre is a couple of kilometres away, a short taxi rather than a stroll. Tell us who's coming and we'll pick the base to suit.
