About La Torre Golf
Top golf architects have made their mark at Murcia with La Torre Golf a Nicklaus Design creation. A par 68, the difficulty lies in the water hazards and the five hectares of bunkers. Probably best for mid to high handicappers but an enjoyable round can be had by players of all levels

Our take
At par 68 La Torre is a quick flat round where five hectares of bunkers and the odd stretch of water provide the resistance.
- Higher handicapsThis is your day in the Murcia rotation. Short enough to score on, flat enough to walk without noticing, and the trouble, sand and water mostly, is the honest sort you can see and steer around.
- Serious golfersTreat it as a scoring day rather than a test of the whole bag. Par 68 means the birdie chances you miss will sting, and the sheer acreage of bunkering exposes a lazy wedge, so the short game gets a proper workout.
- SocietiesA sensible middle day for a group of mixed abilities. Higher handicaps get round with dignity intact, the better players chase a career low number, and nobody arrives at dinner worn out.
