About Domaine de Manville
ABOUT THE HOTEL
Domaine de Manville has pretty much everything you could look for in an upmarket holiday in Provence, including its own golf course.
The location alone sets the resort apart with the amazing scenery of Les Baux de Provence as the backdrop. A former farm, the hotel buildings sprawl around the gorgeous estate so there’s a huge amount of space for only 30 bedrooms and the nine luxury villas. The bedrooms are a clever mix of the contemporary and the charming. If you’re looking for more space, even more luxury and as much privacy or attention as you need, the villas are the perfect choice. With three bedrooms and superb kitchens, they are pretty good value too when you’re sharing the price among six adults and you can choose to make it a private party or dip into the hotel and its facilities as much as you please.
There are two restaurants: the gourmet restaurant provides top-notch cuisine in a choice of stunning settings and a laid-back bistrot with its “gastro pub” feel.
The spa carries on the five-star theme and features an indoor pool in addition to the large outdoor pool. Also outside are the vast grounds of the estate to visit and explorers have plenty of opportunities to wear out their shoes as Manville is in the middle of the Avignon/Salon de Provence/Arles triangle.
The last piece of this heavenly jigsaw is the on-site golf course – it’s as pretty as a picture but not overly difficult. Nearby is Servanes golf club and 40 minutes either side of Domaine de Manville lie the two superb courses of Pont Royal and Nimes Campagne.
