About Cap d’Agde Golf Club
With three loops of nine spread over 115 hectares, Cap d'Agde golf course is a highly enjoyable and easy-walking golf course a short step back from the coast and adjacent to the Palmyra Golf Hotel. Designed by Ronald Fream, the golf course is nearly 7000 yards from the back tees whichever 18-hole loop you’re playing. There’s more than a touch of links about much of the course but there’s also quite a lot of target golf. Well-maintained and with super greens, the course also grand views of the Mediterranean.
Three loops of nine give Cap d'Agde built-in variety, and a sea breeze that rarely switches off means the same holes play differently every day.
Serious golfersClose to 7,000 yards off the backs whichever pairing of nines you take, with a coastal breeze worth an extra club. The 6th on the Alizés and the 2nd on the Azur wreck more cards than any others.
Higher handicapsWater turns up on hole after hole, so bring a sensible supply of balls and aim for the middle of those excellent greens. The target golf punishes a hopeful swipe far more than a modest one.
Buddy tripsStay at the Palmyra next door and you can walk to the first tee, and with three nines you never have to play the same 18 twice on a short trip.

How long is LeShuttle crossing time to France
The Eurotunnel LeShuttle from Folkestone to Calais takes about 35 minutes, which makes a self-drive trip genuinely easy for the Northern France golf resorts. Le Touquet, Hardelot and the courses around the Somme are roughly two to three hours on from Calais, so you can load the clubs, drive on and be on the first tee the same day, and on those breaks we can include the crossing in the price. For the south and southwest, such as Biarritz, the Riviera and Provence, most golfers fly into Nice, Marseille, Biarritz or Bordeaux and we arrange transfers on the ground.

Is it easy to get around in France?
Getting around France is straightforward. Self-driving is the most popular option — if you've come via Le Shuttle, you already have your car. Trains are excellent for city-to-city travel, particularly from Paris to Bordeaux (2 hours on the TGV). Within golf regions like the Algarve or Brittany, a hire car gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace. We include all airport or station transfers in our packages and can arrange inter-course transfers, so you're never left without options.
