About Capdepera Golf Course
Capdepera golf course is an American style design. From the back tees the fairways appear narrow, but play your usual game and enjoy this classy test of golf. The Signature hole is the 15th Par-3 where the rocky backdrop is offset by purple flora and rough grasses. It's magnificent to look at and to play. Capdepera is 48 miles east of Palma.
Our take
An American style Dan Maples layout that looks far tighter from the tee than it plays, and a genuinely easy walk, flat from first to last.
- Higher handicapsThe fairways look narrow from the tee but there is more room than you think, and with no climb to speak of it is a genuinely easy walk. Nine water hazards are the only real trouble.
- Serious golfersOff the back tees the Maples design tightens up properly, and the par 3 15th, played against that rocky backdrop, is worth the trip east on its own.
- SocietiesPairs naturally with Canyamel, Pula and Alcanada for an east coast itinerary, and because it is flat, nobody in the group is forced onto a buggy to keep up.
