Aphrodite Hills Hotel: your questions answered

Does Aphrodite Hills have its own golf course?

Yes. The resort has its own 18 hole championship course on site, now recognised as PGA National Cyprus, so you stay and play in one place. There is also a 3 hole golf academy and a driving range, useful for warming up or sharpening things between rounds. On Golf Planet Holidays packages the green fees are already built into the price.

Is Aphrodite Hills worth it for a golf holiday?

Yes, if you want everything in one place. It suits golfers who like a five star resort with the championship course on the doorstep, and mixed groups do well here: the spa, nine tennis courts, horse riding ranch and village square keep non-players busy. If you would rather play a different course each day, ask your GPH specialist to build other Paphos rounds into the trip.

How much is a golf package at Aphrodite Hills?

Packages start at £575 (≈ €665) (≈ $765) (≈ CA$1,085) (≈ AU$1,105) (≈ NZ$1,345) (≈ CHF 615) per person for five nights bed and breakfast with three rounds. Five nights all inclusive with three rounds is £1,015 (≈ €1,175) (≈ $1,355) (≈ CA$1,915) (≈ AU$1,945) (≈ NZ$2,375) (≈ CHF 1,085), and seven nights with four rounds costs £810 (≈ €945) (≈ $1,075) (≈ CA$1,535) (≈ AU$1,555) (≈ NZ$1,895) (≈ CHF 865) on bed and breakfast or £1,405 (≈ €1,635) (≈ $1,875) (≈ CA$2,655) (≈ AU$2,695) (≈ NZ$3,285) (≈ CHF 1,505) all inclusive. One honest note: all inclusive adds a fair amount here, so it only pays if you will really use it. Quotes are free and arrive by email.

Is Aphrodite Hills all inclusive?

Both boards are available. GPH prices Aphrodite Hills on either bed and breakfast or all inclusive, so you can pick whichever suits how you travel. The hotel's restaurants cater to a wide range of tastes, so bed and breakfast guests still have plenty of choice in the evenings. Your specialist can quote both boards side by side, with no payment and no obligation.

What is there for non-golfers at Aphrodite Hills?

Plenty. Alongside the golf there is The Retreat Spa by Atlantica, nine tennis courts, a horse riding ranch and a village square to wander through, with restaurants covering a wide range of tastes. Non-golfers who fancy having a go can use the 3 hole academy and driving range. That mix makes it one of the easier Paphos picks for a mixed group.

Can I book Aphrodite Hills through Golf Planet Holidays?

Yes. Golf Planet Holidays has hand-built golf holidays since 1981 and is rated 4.9 on Google. A named specialist plans the trip and books your tee times, and because the championship course is on site there is no daily transfer needed. Holidays are PTS protected, with ATOL cover where flights are included; packages are ground only, so flights are an optional add-on. Enquiries are free.

Frequently asked questions

Golf holidays in Cyprus — answers to the questions our golfers ask most.

Where should I play golf in Cyprus?

PGA Cyprus at Aphrodite Hills is a must and the surrounding golf courses are maturing nicely and are well worth a day out.

Is it easy to get around in Cyprus?

Getting around Cyprus is straightforward, though a hire car is recommended if you want to explore beyond your resort. Most golf holidays are based in Paphos where the main courses — Aphrodite Hills and PGA National Cyprus — are both within 20 minutes. We include private transfers from the airport to your hotel and can arrange inter-course transfers as part of your package. Roads are well maintained, driving is on the left (same as the UK) and signage is in both Greek and English.

Is Cyprus good for families?

Cyprus is an excellent destination for family golf holidays. The island's reliable sunshine, calm clear Mediterranean waters and excellent resort facilities cater well to mixed groups. Aphrodite Hills Resort has a water park, tennis, spa and restaurants, meaning non-golfers and children are genuinely well catered for. The island is safe, English is widely spoken, and the relatively short flight from the UK (4.5 hours) makes it manageable with younger children. Many families extend their stay with beach time in the Paphos or Ayia Napa areas.

Can I cross between North and South Cyprus?

Yes, it is possible to cross between the Republic of Cyprus and Northern Cyprus at designated checkpoints. For golf holidays however, this is rarely relevant — all the main courses including Aphrodite Hills, PGA National Cyprus and Secret Valley are located in the south near Paphos, so you won't need to cross. Cyprus is a compact island and the golf region around Paphos is easily accessible from both Paphos Airport (15 minutes) and Larnaca Airport (90 minutes). We recommend focusing your stay in the Paphos area.

Are flights included?

Our golf holidays are arranged ground-only — hotel, golf and transfers. You can add flights through us, and those flights are ATOL protected as part of your booking.

How do golf holidays with Golf Planet Holidays work?

Every trip is tailor-made. Tell us your group, dates and the destinations you fancy, and we build a personal itinerary — hotel, golf and transfers — around them. There are no fixed packages to squeeze into; we shape the whole break to suit how your group likes to play.
