ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE

Opened in 1895 by a consortium of British aristocrats who spent their summers in the south of France, Valescure is the fifth oldest golf club in the France.  Designed by the great Harry Colt, the course measures only 5530 yards but the par of 68 is a tough one. The fairways are lined quite tightly with pine trees and the greens are small.  Manicured and very easy-on-the-eye, Valescure has the advantage of having its own hotel so this is the place for an easy-going, traditional golf holiday.
