About Rouen La Foret Verte Golf Club
La Foret Verte is a modern parkland layout close to the historic city of Rouen. The course has quite long par fives but easier par fours, and there’s a little bit of water to punish lazy swings. It’s not a difficult course so you can afford to play medal. The set-up of the club is nicely relaxed.

Nobody needs their best golf to enjoy La Foret Verte, a relaxed modern parkland near Rouen where you can afford to put a medal card in your pocket.
- Higher handicapsThe par fours are kindly, only four ponds interrupt the round, and the sixty-odd metres of climb amount to a stroll. If you want one card from your trip to be proud of, play medal here.
- Buddy tripsLong par fives give the big hitter an edge, but the 2nd and the 14th pull things level soon enough. A relaxed club for a money match nobody takes too seriously.
- SocietiesThe set-up is nicely relaxed, buggies and trolleys are on hand, and with Mont St Aignan and Le Vaudreuil nearby you can build a three-course Rouen itinerary around a Foret Verte day.
