About Norges Dijon Bourgogne Golf Club
Owned by Jacques Laffite, Norges Dijon golf club welcomes our clients to its very pretty 18 hole course in an oasis of oak and beech woodland surrounded by fabulous Burgundy countryside. Appropriately named Grands Crus, the course is probably the best overall test of golf in the region. You need technical skills to conquer the par threes and some big hits to beat the par fours and fives.
With a fine clubhouse, great facilities and a wine-list worthy of a top restaurant, Golf de Norges Dijon is worth a detour.

Our take
Probably the sternest all-round test of golf in the region, set in oak and beech woodland so flat there is not a metre of climb in the whole round.
- Serious golfersFenn's par threes demand precise irons and the longer holes want a big carry or two. With little breeze inland and only a handful of water hazards, the woodland itself sets the questions.
- Higher handicapsDead flat and honest, so the walk will not tire you, but the oaks and beeches punish a crooked driver. Play within yourself and the Grands Crus gives you a fair chance of a decent score.
- SocietiesA fine clubhouse and a wine list that takes Burgundy seriously make this an easy pick for the group's centrepiece round, and the flat walking keeps everyone together.

What you are actually facing
The wind. The wind is usually northerly, averaging 10 km/h, gusting to 38. It is the club selection that catches people out, not the yardage.
The water. 5 hazards in play. Bring a few more balls than you think you need.
The design. Michael Fenn.
