About Quetigny Grand Dijon Golf Club
Just outside Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, Golf de Quetigny Grand Dijon is a varied and sometimes hilly course with well-protected and small greens. The 6150 yards, par 71 course is quite tight and technical, so leave your driver in the boot of your car and play for position. The La Mirande river snakes through the course, but doesn't worry you too much. The clubhouse is practical and the food is tasty and the wine-list very easy on the palate and wallet.

Leave the driver in the boot at Quetigny; at 6,150 yards this tight, technical course is all about finding position and holding small, well-protected greens.
- Serious golfersA thinking round rather than a slog. The 3rd asks the hardest early question and the 18th has ruined plenty of good cards, so keep something in reserve for the finish.
- Higher handicapsNearly 100 metres of climb over the round means proper hills in places, and the small greens give little back when you miss. The short yardage helps, but this one takes patience.
- SocietiesHandy for a Dijon base, with a practical clubhouse, tasty cooking and a wine list that will not upset the treasurer. Expect a bit of legwork on the hillier stretches.
