About Tecina Golf Course
Tecina Golf course on the beautiful island of La Gomera was designed by Donald Steel. The hilly course is as lovely and peaceful as the Jardin Tecina Hotel and boasts magnificent views over the ocean.
Particular holes to mention are the 4th, a par three over a ravine and the 10th where the tee is 45 metres above the fairway...Fantastic! You could be a million miles from anywhere! It's a great course to play when staying on the island and can be played on a day trip from Tenerife.

Nobody finds Tecina by accident, and the reward for getting to La Gomera is Donald Steel golf played high above the ocean in near total peace.
- CouplesAs lovely and peaceful as the Jardin Tecina hotel it sits beside, with ocean views from all over the course. If one of you plays and the other does not, neither loses out.
- Solo golfersYou could be a million miles from anywhere out here, and that is the appeal. A peaceful, easy going round with no water on the course and the ocean breeze for company.
- Higher handicapsThe 4th asks for one brave carry over a ravine and the 10th tee stands 45 metres above the fairway, but there is no water anywhere and the drops do the work rather than your legs.
