About Quinta do Lago Laranjal Golf Course
The newest of the Quinta do Lago courses, Laranjal starts off with a long par 3 and provides a tricky test. Originally an orange grove this very well-maintained course is an enjoyable day out. The fairways are spectacular and the greens are a delight.

Our take
Laranjal is the newest of the three Quinta do Lago courses, laid over a flat old orange grove with fairways and greens that run beautifully.
- Serious golfersIt opens with a long par 3 and never quite lets you settle after that. Water threatens on eight holes, so the tricky shots here reward commitment to the line rather than raw length.
- Higher handicapsDead flat and sheltered from the coastal breeze, this is the Quinta round to pick if the South feels intimidating. Wide fairways and honest greens keep everyone moving.
- Buddy tripsPair it with the South and North for a proper Quinta do Lago few days. Laranjal is often the round the group comes off rating highest for pure enjoyment.
