ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE

These two fantastic courses opened in 2002 and are still surprisingly unknown to tourist golfers. Eight miles east of Tavira they deserve more attention but for the moment enjoy the calm atmosphere and great condition of these two courses, already rated among Portugal’s best.

Quinta da Ria

The Ria course is located on the cliffs over the most beautiful inlet of the Ria Formosa. It is not long but has well-defended greens.

Quinta de Cima

The Cima design is more difficult with ditches, lakes and streams to contend with. Target golf is the name of the game here.
