About Pezula Golf Club
Golf course architects Ronald Fream and David Dale of GolfPlan USA have sculptured an incredible course at Pezula Golf Club in Knysna. Covering 254 hectares on the Knysna clifftops, the Championship course has views of both the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean. It is a challenging and rewarding round of golf for players of all levels. Each round includes a stop at the halfway house to savour the atmosphere and views.

Our take
Pezula's halfway house earns its pause, sat on the Knysna clifftops with the lagoon on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other.
- CouplesThe round is built for savouring rather than grinding. Views of the lagoon and the ocean from most of the property, a halfway house worth lingering at, and a course that lets you both play.
- Higher handicapsGenuinely playable for all levels, as the designers intended. There are seven water hazards to plot around but nothing brutal, and the challenge stays on the rewarding side of hard.
- Buddy tripsSlot it into a Knysna run alongside Simola and Oubaii. The clifftop setting makes it the round the group photographs, and a bit of sea breeze off the Indian Ocean keeps the golf honest.
