About Melia Hacienda del Conde Buenavista
Set in a fantastic position with dramatic views of the impressive Teno Mountains, the deservedly five-star Melia Hacienda del Conde also overlooks the stunning Buenavista golf course, designed by the late Seve Ballesteros.
This luxury adults-only hotel is decorated in Spanish colonial style, with a selection of different room categories. The impressive complex has lovely outdoor terraces and a large pool, an excellent buffet restaurant and a select à la carte restaurant.
Hotel guests can enjoy the marvellous and serene YHI Spa, set in a volcanic cave (spa visits payable locally), where a wide range of luxury treatments is available. Once the day’s golf or exploring is over, the resort really is ideal for recharging the batteries.
Buenavista golf course is just a short walk away from the hotel or you can use the free hotel transfer. As you would expect from Seve Ballesteros, the par 72 golf course is challenging, with six par threes, par fours and par fives, but also offers opportunities to beat your handicap, particularly if the wind is in your favour! The views are spectacular with the mountains to one side and the Atlantic Ocean on another.
