About Las Ramblas Golf course, Finca Resort
Playing Las Ramblas at La Finca Resort takes you through a landscape of Mediterranean pines and natural water. Opened in 1991 and designed by Pepe Gancedo you'll find narrow approaches to the greens which are large, fast and undulating.
The Las Ramblas clubhouse is welcoming and if you recognise the setting, actor Liam Neeson shot parts of Taken 3 here. It's one of three great courses to play from La Finca Resort.

Our take
Pepe Gancedo threaded Las Ramblas through Mediterranean pines and natural water, and the narrow approaches into large, fast greens ask for plenty of thought before the swing.
- Serious golfersGancedo makes you plan backwards from the flag. The approaches are narrow, the greens quick and full of borrow, and it is the 7th and the 18th where good rounds tend to come apart.
- Higher handicapsBudget for a lost ball or two in the pines and the water, and the pace of the greens turns three putts into a habit. Playable off the tee, but it will not flatter you.
- Buddy tripsOne of three courses at La Finca, so the resort works as a base for a full trip, and someone in the group will enjoy knowing Liam Neeson filmed Taken 3 here.
