About Fancourt Outeniqua
Fancourt has three excellent golf courses, Outeniqua, Montagu and The Links, all designed by Gary Player.
Outeniqua golf course is an 18-hole parkland layout to set you up for an enjoyable round of golf. The course provides for easier game play than its counterpart, the Montagu. But it still has its fair share of challenges and water hazards . Designed by Gary Player and named after the mountain range that forms its breathtaking backdrop, the course is always in pristine condition.
Montagu is a tougher option and a wonderful round of golf. This tree-lined parkland course covers large tracts of varying terrain on rolling land.
The Links, regularly rated the best course in South Africa, is a private club but there are limited tee times available to Fancourt Hotel and Manor House Guests who meet minimum reservation requirements.

- Serious golfersYou will relish it. It rewards position over power and punishes the lazy shot. The kind of course that sorts a group out.
- Higher handicapsTake a buggy, play the forward tees, and you will have a fine day. It asks questions, but it is a fair one.
- Societies & groupsA cracking matchplay course, with enough risk and reward to split the field and plenty to argue about over a drink after.
- WalkersA comfortable enough walk if you would rather leave the buggy in the shed.
