About Circolo Golf Bogogno Club
Play and stay at this very impressive resort with two courses created by Robert von Hagge. Both the Del Conte and Bonora courses will take you through forests, along wide open fairways and across water. Less than an hour from Milan, Bogogno can be found in the foothills of the Monte Rosa Massif mountain range and both courses make use of the slopes. They should be enjoyed for their beauty and design and the lovely clubhouse and restaurant will round off your day perfectly. 23 miles south of Stresa. True hidden gems.

Our take
Robert von Hagge shaped both courses at Bogogno, and he made sure water is never far from your thoughts across the 36 holes.
- Serious golfersVon Hagge design in the Monte Rosa foothills, with the Del Conte and Bonora using the natural slopes in different ways. Water shows up constantly, so you need every carry number before you tee off.
- Higher handicapsBring more balls than pride. Water threads through both courses, and forest lines much of the rest, so pick the forward tees and treat the carries with respect. The wide open fairway holes give you breathers.
- Buddy tripsStay and play with two genuinely different courses under an hour from Milan, which settles the usual argument about repeating a course. The clubhouse and restaurant give the evenings a proper finish.

What you are actually facing
The wind. The wind is usually northerly, averaging 6 km/h. It is the club selection that catches people out, not the yardage.
The water. Water is very much in play across this course. Bring a few more balls than you think you need.
The design. Robert von Hagge.
