Nowhere in the Mediterranean packs championship golf as tightly as Belek. Along one ribbon of umbrella pine on Turkey’s Antalya coast, tournament courses sit a buggy ride from five-star resorts, the sea is never far away, and the winter sunshine is reliable enough to plan a February medal around. The transfer from Antalya airport is short, which matters more than people admit at the end of a travel day.
The all-inclusive standard here is very high, but the resorts differ more than the brochures let on. Below are the houses we know best and book most often, the golf that defines each, when to travel and what a hand-built week costs. Ground-only weeks start from
The flagship resorts: Maxx Royal and Regnum Carya
Two names lead. Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort is the address the rest of the coast measures itself against: contemporary suites, serious dining, a spa you will actually use, and the celebrated Montgomerie Maxx Royal course, a strategic, links-influenced layout that rewards thought over muscle. A short distance away, Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort pairs theatrical architecture and one of the best spas in Belek with the Carya course, a heathland-style design you can play under floodlights after dinner, which remains a rare treat anywhere in Europe. Forced to choose, we would take the Montgomerie for the golf itself and Regnum for everything around it; if night golf appeals, Regnum settles the argument on its own. Both suit couples and small groups who want the best of everything in one place, and both sell out their prime spring weeks earlier than feels reasonable, so decide sooner rather than later.

When to go, and how a hand-built trip serves you better
Belek plays from October to May. Spring and autumn are the pick: warm, settled days and immaculate fairways, with the courses at their best. Winter works too, though we should be straight about it: December and January can throw a wet spell at you and the days are short, so we build winter weeks with a spare morning in hand rather than a tee time you would resent losing. A package sells you a room and a fixed list of rounds. A hand-built week does more. We match the resort to the way you actually play, hold tee times on the courses you most want, steer you towards the quietest sheets, and arrange transfers and any flights around your dates, with your money protected until you travel. The difference is a week shaped around your golf rather than someone else’s spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to play the course attached to my resort?
Not at all. Belek’s courses sit close together, so we routinely arrange rounds across several venues during a single stay, whatever resort you choose as your base. We build the rota of courses around the layouts you most want to play.
Is my money protected when I book?
Yes. Golf Planet Holidays has arranged hand-built golf since 1981, and every payment is held securely in trust with PTS until you return home. Where you add flights, those are ATOL protected; our ground-only model means you may also travel under your own flight arrangements if you prefer.
How many courses can I realistically play in a week?
Most guests play four to six rounds across a week, leaving time for the spa, dining and a day by the sea. The estates at Gloria and Cornelia make multi-course weeks especially easy, and we pace the tee times so the golf never feels rushed.
Is Belek suitable for mixed-ability groups?
Very much so. The range from the championship Carya and Montgomerie layouts to the more forgiving resort courses means we can build a week that challenges low handicappers while staying enjoyable for everyone, with the right tees and timings arranged in advance.
Are Belek's golf hotels all-inclusive?
Most are. Nearly every resort we book in Belek runs on an all-inclusive basis, so dining and drinks are taken care of while you concentrate on the golf, though a few, such as Cornelia De Luxe, also offer bed-and-breakfast stays. We confirm the board basis on every quote, so you always know exactly what is included.
Which Belek golf hotels offer the best value?
For faultless golf without the flagship price tag, we return to Gloria Serenity, the two Sueno hotels and Titanic Deluxe: five-star resorts on well-regarded courses where a week with rounds included starts from around
