Booking a golf trip on your own can feel like the hard part, but on the French Riviera it really isn’t. You travel at your own pace, play the courses you choose, and let the rest of the day unfold however you like, from a quiet terrace dinner to a wander through an old hilltop town. We arrange every transfer and tee booking and hand you a week of pine-scented limestone golf above the Mediterranean, from
We’ve been arranging tailor-made golf trips since 1981, and solo travellers are some of our favourite people to look after. The whole trip is enquiry-based and built around you, with no fixed package to slot into. You tell us how much golf you want and how you like to spend your evenings, and we shape the week to fit.
Play it your way on the Côte d'Azur
The thing solo golfers wonder about most is who they’ll play with, and on the Riviera the answer is easy and low-pressure. If you fancy some company, most courses are happy to pair a single player with others on the day, so you arrive at the first tee and join whoever’s out. If you’d rather have the peace, a quieter morning often means a round to yourself. That’s the course’s call on the day rather than something we arrange, but singles are well looked after here. You walk Saint Endreol’s dramatic ravine holes at Le Muy, or the manicured fairways of Terre Blanche near Tourrettes, exactly as you please.
What going alone really gives you is freedom. The evenings are entirely yours, whether that’s a glass of rosé in Mougins or an early night before the next round. You set the rhythm of the week, we handle the bookings and the logistics, and the golf stays the focus.
The courses you can play
This stretch of the Côte d’Azur is one of the densest pockets of good golf in Europe, and a solo itinerary lets you cherry-pick the best of it. Saint Endreol at Le Muy is the local showstopper — water, rock and elevation woven through a wooded valley. Terre Blanche gives you two full championship loops, the Château and the Riou, a Dave Thomas design widely rated among France’s finest.
Closer to the coast, Esterel at Valescure and the historic Valescure course at Saint Raphaël offer classic, tree-lined, walkable golf — the kind of round that’s a pleasure to play with new partners. Up in the hills above Grasse, Claux Amic rewards you with mountain air and long views back down to the sea. We’ll build the rotation around how much you want to play and how far you want to travel each day.
Where our specialists would stay in French Riviera
Where you'll stay
Your base sets the tone of the trip, and we match it to the kind of solo traveller you are. Domaine de Saint Endreol Golf & Spa at Le Muy puts you on the doorstep of the course with a spa to unwind in afterwards. Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort at Tourrettes is the full five-star resort experience, ideal if you’d like everything — golf, dining, wellness — in one place. And for something more intimate, Le Mas Candille in the hilltop village of Mougins is a boutique retreat with a Michelin pedigree, perfect if you value a quiet, characterful bolthole to return to each evening.
Booked properly, protected fully
Every trip we arrange is ATOL Protected, and your money is held in trust with PTS until you’ve travelled — so the funds simply aren’t at risk in the meantime. You deal with one team, billed in GBP, from first enquiry to the moment you fly home.
Travelling from the US? The Riviera is an easy add-on golf week with flights into Nice, and your dollar tends to stretch well against UK-billed, GBP-priced golf — we’ll fold the flights and transfers into one arranged itinerary so you’re not stitching it together yourself. Wherever you’re coming from, you tell us how you like to play, and we do the rest.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a single supplement on a solo golf holiday?
It depends on the hotel and dates — some properties charge a single supplement, others don’t. Because every trip is tailor-made and enquiry-based, we’ll show you the exact per-person cost from
Will I have to play every round on my own?
Not necessarily, and the choice is part of the appeal. Most courses will pair a single golfer with others on the day if you want company, while on quieter mornings you may get a round to yourself. It’s the course’s decision on the day rather than something we arrange, but singles are common on the Riviera and the welcome is relaxed. You travel solo and play it however suits your mood.
Which courses are included from £495 (≈ €565) (≈ $655) (≈ CA$925) (≈ AU$945) (≈ NZ$1,155) (≈ CHF 525) per person?
Riviera itineraries are built around courses including Saint Endreol at Le Muy, Terre Blanche’s Château and Riou, Esterel at Valescure, Valescure at Saint Raphaël and Claux Amic at Grasse. The from-price reflects a real tailor-made starting point; your final rotation and price depend on the courses, hotel and dates you choose.
Is my money protected if I book a solo trip?
Yes. We’re ATOL Protected and your money is held in trust with PTS until you have travelled, so your funds are safeguarded the whole time. You’re billed in GBP and looked after by one team from enquiry to return.
