Our Suppliers

We’ve made golf holidays for 32 years and have won several awards for our service, program and brochure. We realise that great service doesn’t mean much unless our holiday partners – the travel companies, hotels and golf courses – perform.   So we choose our suppliers very carefully and they all have to sign a Contract of Performance and keep us informed of any work and improvements they are making. 

We select our partners using a mix of tried-and-trusted measures:

1. Personal visits

2. Recommendations from family, clients and friends

3. Trade sources such as ABTA, Gault Millau and IAGTO

4.  Travel magazines like TTG, Conde Nast Traveller, golf magazines and the travel sections in Le Point, International Herald Tribune and The Sunday Times

5. Golf guide books such as Rolex, Peugeot and the Golf World Top 100

6. Trade shows such as EIBTM, WTM and IGTM as well as trade functions and famtrips hosted by tourist boards.

7. Discussions with our Destination Management Companies like Ascot Tours in South Africa and XML (online accommodation) brokers such as HotelsPro

After we’ve been attracted to a resort, we check it for ease-of-access, safety, proximity to other courses and hotels, value and reputation.  If a destination “ticks our boxes”, we then approach them and discuss how we can work together and what advantages the resort can offer our clients.   If all goes well, the supplier will sign our Contract of Performance and we’ll sign the Conditions Contract.    The same goes for our DMC Partners – the Destination Management Companies – who look after our clients in far-flung destinations like Asia and South America. Once that’s all done, we’ll feature the supplier in our programmes and carefully monitor clients’ satisfaction.   We let the suppliers know our clients’ critiques and also take them out of the programme if we’ve had two poor reviews.  Clients’ critiques are monitored via a spreadsheet so we can study the results at any time.
