About Valle del Este Golf Course
Play at the excellent Valle del Este golf course and stay at the superb four-star on site hotel. Designed by Jose Canales in 2003 the golf course layout pays tribute to the natural pre-desert environment. Each one of the holes is a different design to keep you on your toes and the care taken in course maintenance will leave you very impressed.

Our take
Valle del Este plays eighteen holes of pre-desert golf where no two designs repeat, and the four star spa hotel sits right beside the course.
- Serious golfersEvery hole is a different shape of question, with water in play nine times and the 4th and 9th the two that wreck most cards. The air stays calm here, so there is no hiding behind the wind.
- Higher handicapsA par 71 with only moderate climb, around 150 metres over the round, so most can walk it. The water is the main threat; leave the hero carries alone and it is perfectly playable.
- CouplesThe four star spa hotel sits on the course itself, so one of you can play while the other takes the pool and treatments, and nobody needs a transfer.

The wind. The wind is usually easterly, averaging 8 km/h, gusting to 31. It is the club selection that catches people out, not the yardage.
