About The Griffin Inn
The Griffin Inn is a great base for a golf break in East Sussex. There are good bedrooms, food and views.
The 13 double bedrooms are comfortable and well-equipped and available for single occupancy. The food in the pub comes from the region with a comprehensive wine list and local ales. The garden stretches over two acres with views of The South Downs and the National Trust property, Sheffield Park.

Proper village pub
The Griffin sits in the middle of Fletching, and evenings here are pub evenings: four bars within a village stroll, with the inn's own at the heart of it. Clinton Lodge Gardens is next door, and Sheffield Park is a mile up the road, a decent leg-stretch before dinner. A short taxi widens things: sixteen restaurants, fifteen cafes and more than two dozen bars within a few miles, and The Broadway for anyone after a later night.
