ABOUT THE COURSE Tamarina Golf Club is the only championship-standard layout on the wild west coast of Mauritius, sitting at the foot of Mount Rempart with views over Tamarin Bay. Designed by Rodney Wright and opened in 2006, this 18-hole par 72 course measures 6,886 metres across 206 hectares of savannah and basalt outcrops.
Five teeing options accommodate every level. The 7th hole frames Mount Rempart and Tamarin Bay; the 18th plays toward the clubhouse where Le Dix-Neuf restaurant serves Mauritian classics — arouille fritters, bol renversé, prawn curry — with 18th-green and mountain views.
Resident guests at Tamarina Hotel play unlimited rounds, plus reciprocal green-fee privileges at partner resorts: Sugar Beach, Sofitel So Mauritius, Maradiva, Hilton, Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers, La Pirogue and Paradis Beachcomber.
