• Serious golfersEvery approach needs a plan when three dozen water hazards are in play, and the level ground gives you no excuse for tired thinking late on. Lay-ups and committed carries both work here; indecision does not.
• Higher handicapsPack more balls than pride, because water waits on nearly every hole and a 20 handicapper will donate a few; at least the ground is dead flat, so the legs stay fresh while the ball count drops.
• CouplesThe wetland forest setting between the glades and the sea makes this as pleasant a place to be as to play, and the easy walking means neither of you finishes the round shattered.
