Unusually for a links course there are no sand hills so you can see the sea from every hole and gaze south to Somerset and Exmoor or northwest across Swansea Bay to the Gower Penisula.
With the 18 holes facing all points of the compass, you cannot avoid the wind. You'll need every club in your bag. The status of the course is sustained by the many prestigious professional and amateur events held at the club over the years, including The Curtis Cup and The Walker Cup and The Dunlop Masters.
