Ombria Golf Course is the latest addition to the splendid collection around Faro on the Algarve. The course is designed by Jorge Santana da Silva and forms the centrepiece of the Ombria Resort near Loule. Weaving around ancient rivers and trees it has reached the highest eco-standards as well as great golfing ones. At nearly 6,000 metres from the very back tees, the par 71 course looks set to become a must play on the Algarve.
