About Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club
Real Novo Sancti Petri golf club has two superb golf courses. The club opened in 1990 with 27 holes and was the first golf course in Spain designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros. The original Mar y Pinos starts with nice wide fairways taking you to the spectacular sixth hole with the green just above the beach. Past the turn you head into nine holes dominated by pines. Centro is the other great course, with holes 5-13 added in 2001. After a flat start the course takes you down to the Atlantic Ocean with plenty of water on the way. Make sure to spot Seve's Signature S as you approach the 18th green. It's one of a few courses you will find with six par 3s, six par fours and six par fives .

Seve Ballesteros built his first Spanish course here, 27 holes beside the beach at Chiclana where the pines and the sea breeze set the questions.
- Serious golfersMar y Pinos turns serious once the pines take over past the turn, and its 13th wrecks more cards than any other hole; on Centro the 9th plays the same role. The sea breeze is a constant extra club.
- Buddy tripsTwenty-seven holes means the group can play a different combination each day without repeating a loop, and the 6th green sat just above the beach gives everyone the photograph they came for.
- Higher handicapsThe wide opening fairways ease you in, but the pine-lined holes after the turn punish a crooked driver and the breeze adds a club. There is enough climb in the round that many will want a buggy.
